I am a big fan of Ramani Chandran's novels. If you ask me reasons for the same, I don't have any, I like them that's it.

Some of her books are very good, some are ok and some are bad too. But there is something in her writing style that takes you back to her books. I believe people who have read her books will surely agree with me.
Infact I have read some of her books more than once too. Though her novels are romantic in nature I think the real factor that makes me go back to her stories is the way heroines are depicted in her stories and ofcourse thats the same reason why I said some of her books are bad!!!!
Another factor that I like about her is the way her stories changes with time. I think Ramani Chandran's fans who have read both her old and new strories will accept with me.
The latest novel that I read is the one that got published in 'Mangayar Novel". Oops I don't remember the book name but the story was good. To be frank better than some of her latest novels.
Also there is a new story started in 'Aval Vikatan', 'Vennilavu Suduvathenna'. It got started just now so we have to wait for one or two more weeks to see how the story line gets developed

My favorites
- Atharkoru neram undu
One of my all time favorites. I have read it a lot of times. Though it's slightly unbelievable, it's a good one.
The story involves around the hero, Dinakar, who loses his eye sight in a accident. He is engaged to Manohari's (heroine) cousin but the cousin is now not interested in marrying him as he his blind. Here comes our heroine to the rescue (who have already met Dinakaran in a bad situation and that time does not know he is her cousin's would-be). So our heroine takes up her cousin's role and takes care of Dinakaran. They get married (without Dinakaran knowing that Manohari is not his actual fiancee) and live happily. Problem arises when Dinakaran gets a chance to get back his eye sight. But in climax all goes well and the truth comes out.
This story has all proper ingredients for an entertaining novel (as in the case of a movie!!!). The mother-in-law (Dinakaran's mom) character is also an interesting one.
